Florida vibes Excavations no. 08

The "Excavations" series allows me to expand and evolve my abstract work in various directions and fuse elements of figurative and abstract together enlarging my image-making vocabulary in the process. My work is driven by many things including the nature of the materials I work with which also contribute to the creative energy during the process. Having a studio in Florida and working there for several months a year affects my sense of color and the way I compose my Paintings by also including floral elements into my abstract works.
